If you have to upload files to a FTP server on a daily basis, ViaFTP can make your job easier. It makes file management more comfortable and it allows you to connect to your FTP servers on the fly. The application allows you to manage multiple servers, favorite folders and more. You can find it in free and paid editions and you can have it up and running in no time.

You can navigate through files and folders in a tree structure, ViaFTP's compact user interface. What's more, the application allows you to create tabs, so you can jump between different locations instantly. Another interesting feature is the possibility of locking multiple ViaFTP windows together, which allows you to move all ViaFTP windows on the screen at once.

The file browser can be replaced with a bookmarks page, on which you can add and access computers from your local network, favorite local folders, as well as FTP servers, which can be added to custom folders. FTP servers can be defined and saved, but you can also establish a quick connection, for which you only need to specify a few details, like an address, username and password. You can make many other specifications if you define and save a server.

Besides FTP and sFTP servers, the application allows you to connect to other services, like WebDav, Box, Amazon S3 or YouTube, if you have videos to upload. Compared to other FTP clients, ViaFTP is capable of establishing a connection quite fast. You will also notice a significantly higher speed when navigating through your remote folders.

Pros

You can manage several FTP servers and other services. The application is capable of establishing connections quite fast. Its controls are well organized and very easy to understand.

Cons

There are no serious issues to mention. Managing files in local or remote folders can be done much easier with ViaFTP.
